Opportunities
APASS seeks to foster the academic, social, and cultural identity development of the Asian Pacific Islander community and to enrich and integrate culture into UNC. We value culture, authenticity, inclusion, and academic success within our philosophy and services. These services include academic coaching, and leadership development for UNC’s Asian-Pacific Islander student population, as well as cultural and educational programs for the broader UNC community. APASS staff strive to create a safe, inclusive environment for all who visit the center.
The CWGE honors gender as a central identity and engages critical women’s and gender issues, while challenging systems of inequity and advocating for change at UNC.
The César Chávez Cultural Center provides a home away from home for students across the Latinx diaspora where their social identities, culture, ethnicity, language, and traditions are respected and validated through holistic support. We embrace equity and inclusive practices with a student-centered approach and social justice lens. We also house Undocumented Student Services and the DREAMer Engagement Program.
Undocumented Student Services strives to provide academic, financial, and immigration-related resources and support for students with undocumented status. Students who have Temporary Protected Status (TPS), Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA), and those with no status are eligible to participate.
COSI seeks to offer tuition assistance and wrap around student support services to ensure that every Colorado student has affordable access to postsecondary education, and support services to complete a degree or certificate in their desired career and enter into Colorado’s workforce.
